Mark Baildon is an Associate Dean in the Office of Education Research and Associate Professor in Humanities and Social Studies Education at the National Institute of Education. Mark has taught social studies in secondary schools in the United States, Israel, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan. His work focuses on ways to support social studies inquiry, 21stcentury literacies, and civic education in new global contexts. He also takes an interest in happiness and well-being and the ways these can be conceptualised and mobilised in more collective and socially just ways.
