Ms Maureen Huang

Maureen is a US trained Therapist who specializes in stress management, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, communication, and emotional wellbeing. She is a pioneer in the field of animal assisted therapy in Singapore and works alongside her canine co-therapists to bring insights that change the way people think, behave and feel. Her strength is in eliciting relevant learning outcomes and life applications through fun activities and games.

Maureen was trained at the University of Denver’s Institute of Human Animal Connection and the International Institute of Animal Assisted Play Therapy. She has a plethora of experience working with individuals, groups and organizations in Singapore and the United States of America.

Prior to that, Maureen worked in the Banking and Finance Industry. She subsequently pursued her passion for working with both people and animals and is uniquely positioned to help people both in their personal and work life.
Maureen also serves as the advisor of SOSD’s Healing Paws programme.
